The SERENA project is targeting a GaN-on-Silicon E-/W-band single-chip MMIC for mm-wave wireless communication and radar sensors demanding low noise and high linearity. Such highly integrated front-end solutions may result in more affordable high performance RF systems.

MISSION
The SERENA project aims to:
- extend the limits of mainstream semiconductor technologies by developing a low-cost and high-performance (high-power and high-efficiency) hybrid integration platform for mm-wave systems
